The Manager of Transportation is a key player on the ADI Operations team. The Manager will drive day-to-day activities to support customer service levels while delivering on financial commitments to the organization. In this position, you will work closely with both internal and external business partners to resource the initiatives identified to drive positive change in the business. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.

Job Description:

• Manage carrier relationships and performance to optimize both inbound and outbound service levels – supporting both internal and external customer experience
• Engage in the development of transportation budgets and manage weekly forecasts in conjunction with cross-functional IBP, to support overall company financial targets
• Identify freight productivity opportunities and engage key stakeholders to build gap closure plans, including tracking and visibility to progress
• Engage with the digital transformation team to ensure key reporting and functionality built into new ERP & WMS platforms
• Execute root cause–corrective action analysis to effectively mitigate performance gaps and clearly communicate results to the organization
• Engage with the Resideo transportation team on contract negotiation: carriers, software providers, services (FPA)
• Own vendor bill-back program optimization 
• Manage and validate all aspects of freight data infrastructure
• Ensure accurate freight invoice reconciliation to expense
• Manage and develop the transportation support team

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of transportation experience
• Strong understanding of how freight impacts P&L and ability to reconcile accruals
• The ability to consistently and collaboratively resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all management goals on time
• Understanding of key finance, sales, supply chain, and logistics workflows
• Strong business process knowledge of transportation optimization in the distribution environment
• Intermediate Excel & Powerpoint skills (Lookup & Reference Tables, Pivot Tables, financial and logical formulas skills essential); Access or database query experience a plus
